Lido members and their families are invited to attend the annual Lido Memorial Mass for deceased members this coming Sunday, November 8 at 9:00. As we do each November, it will be held in conjunction with the Holy Name Society’s annual remembrance of Holy Rosary’s former Pastor, Father Caesar Donanzan, and will be followed by breakfast in Casa Italiana.
At Mass, there will also be a special appreciation in honor of all current and former military members for their services in recognition of Veterans Day. Military members are welcomed to attend Mass in uniform and a special prayer will be offered.
The centennial of the founding of the Holy Rosary chapter of the Holy Name Society will also be celebrated.
The celebrant for the Mass will be the Most Reverend Timothy P. Broglio, Archbishop for the Military Services of the United States. The Archbishop will also be the honored guest at the breakfast.
There will a special breakfast menu. Reservations will be necessary and must be made by Friday, November 6. The cost for the breakfast is $7.00 per person. Reservations can be made by contacting Don Ricciardella (301.571.0413)
We hope to see many of you for this special Sunday. Seating for the breakfast will be limited, so please make your reservation as soon as possible.
